  Reaction to Recent Studies Regarding CT Scans and Alleged Increased Cancer Risk:

 

 
Radiology Ltd. employees surpassed their goal of raising $12,000 for 2009 - by raising $17,814 dollars - surpassing the 2009 goal by nearly $6,000!  All of the funds, donated to the American Cancer Society, were raised through the 7th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk (in which Radiology Ltd. was a Flagship Sponsor), a Golf Tournament, and internal fundraising events at all Radiology Ltd. locations.  The internal events included a roller skating party, numerous fundraising lunches - from chili in crockpots at the Wilmot Center for Women's Imaging, to funds donated when employees ate lunch at certain local restaurants.

 

Radiology Ltd. Imaging Centers Accredited by the American College Of Radiology (ACR): 

Radiology Ltd. Wilmot Center for Women's Imaging and Radiology Ltd. La Cholla Center for Women's Imaging are the only Imaging Centers accredited by the ACR in Tucson and all of southern Arizona in Breast Ultrasound and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy: 

 

 

Both Radiology Ltd.'s Women's Imaging Centers (Radiology Ltd. Wilmot Center for Women's Imaging and Radiology Ltd. La Cholla Center for Women's Imaging) are also the only imaging centers in Tucson and all of southern Arizona to be named by the ACR as Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence:

 

 

 

Radiology Ltd. Midvale Imaging Center will also offer digital mammography imaging services - most likely in the spring of 2010. Radiology Ltd. Midvale Imaging Center is the only full-service imaging facility on the south side of Tucson, offering CT, MRI, digital X-Ray, ultrasound - and now, in the spring - digital mammography.
