Mammography Technologist
About the Role:
Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee medical imaging organization providing world-class imaging to improve the health of all Southern Arizona, is seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic team at our Tucson locations. Future opportunities to learn breast ultrasound and biopsies are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times.
- Perform precise, prompt, and high-quality mammography examinations.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques, operate console and peripheral hardware, and enter and monitor patient data.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
- Plan and accomplish goals by relying on experience and judgment.
- Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a technologist preferred.
- Superior communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, always putting the patient first.
- Ability to manage time productively within departmental guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in mammography with ARRT credentials and current Arizona State Licensure.
- Breast ultrasound experience helpful; training will be provided as well as in breast biopsy procedures if needed.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.

Work Schedule:
- Hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
