The purpose of the breast patient navigator program is to provide support to you and your patients and to expedite patient care.
Radiology Ltd. utilizes certified Breast Patient Navigators to assist patients throughout the continuum of breast care, addressing questions regarding their breast health, high-risk status, and imaging recommendations. The Breast Patient Navigators have experience in radiology with a special focus on women’s imaging, breast health and breast disease. The Breast Patient Navigators discuss breast biopsy results with patients and answer questions related to the pathology results and follow up recommendations from the radiologists. Breast Patient Navigators also support newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with coordinating their next steps in care based on the primary care providers’ referral preferences.
